Our Accountabilities (Role Deliverables)
	1.	Ensure knowledge transfer of Coal Industry practices between current and future members
	2.	Provide structure for networking between members and affiliates with major stakeholders
	3.	Influence the direction that the coal industry takes i.t.o.
		Safety, Health, Environment and Social Tertiary Education Training and Development Suppliers and Service providers Research Legislation and Regulation Other Associations
	4.	Advance professionalism of the Mining Engineering fraternity in Coal Mining Industry
	5.	Ensure sharing of best practices to add value to the member and business
	6.	Provide the vehicle that is the mechanism for social interaction between members (Camaraderie)
	7.	Ensure the role and importance of SACMA within the coal industry with all stakeholders
